What is SERVE DAY?
On Serve Day volunteers go out into the community to serve our neighbors. We do things such as fun activities for the kids, a mobile food truck providing much needed groceries, handing out free lunch, distributing clothing, trash clean up, etc. Our goal is to make connections with people, so we can share the love of God, and find a way to serve them.
Serve Day is held every last Saturday of the month (subject to change during the winter holiday season). We take out our Mobile Food Trucks to different sites in the AV, as well as do activities at the Joshua Community House.
The Joshua Community House is part of the Neighborhood Impact Program which is a ministry head up by Grace Chapel. Neighborhood Impact is a coalition of churches/organizations that have come together in the Antelope Valley in order to help meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of those who live in "high-risk" neighborhoods.
